Settlement overview

Settlement determines how often we transfer funds to you. The time it takes for funds to settle depends a few factors like the country, currency, and the route that a payment takes.

In a nutshell

When you receive a gift, it takes time for money to transfer from the sender to us after they complete their payment. Although you are notified of gifts immediately, banks need to coordinate for every transaction that happens.

Settlement periods

All gifts are settled within five days they are received. This means that if you are sent a gift on Monday, it will be available in your account by Friday to withdraw.

Settlement time varies

Settlement may be shorter or longer. We'll always credit your account as soon as your funds are available. In most cases this will be within five days. In rare cases this may take longer due to anomalies like a bankings error or processing issues that are out of our control. Automatic settlements

We'll automatically send your funds to you when they are settled if you have added your banking details to your account. You can choose how often you receive funds, ranging from daily to monthly. By default, we settle outstanding funds on a daily basis. The following options are available:
